What veuveclicquotprice.com collects, why, and how to get rid of it. Short, because we collect little.

What we collect
- Your email address, only if you type it into one of the forms on this site. Nothing on this page requires an account, and the price data is readable without giving us anything.
- How you arrived and what you did before subscribing: the referring site, any UTM tags, which page you were on, how long you were there and how far you scrolled. This tells us which of our sites and which sources actually produce readers.
- An anonymous id, stored in a first-party cookie, so we can keep the popup from reappearing after you dismiss it and keep your A/B variant stable between pages. It is a random value. It is not linked to your identity unless you subscribe.
We do not collect payment details on this site, we do not run advertising trackers, and we do not buy or sell personal data.
Why we have it, legally
For the newsletter, your consent: the tick box next to the form, which is never pre-ticked. You can withdraw it at any time and the unsubscribe link in every email does it in one click. For the anonymous id and the attribution fields, our legitimate interest in knowing whether the site works; that data is not used to build a profile of you and is not shared with advertisers.
Those are the lawful bases in Article 6(1)(a) and 6(1)(f) of the UK GDPR, read with the Data Protection Act 2018; the cookies above are covered by regulation 6 of PECR. Being precise about which is which, because it is the part most notices get wrong: vs_anon is written on your first page view, before you do anything, and it is the one we would have to ask you about if we ever used it for anything beyond keeping your A/B variant stable. How long we keep it
Cookies expire on the schedule in the table and we do nothing to renew them. A subscribed address stays with us and with Beehiiv for as long as the newsletter runs, or until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, whichever comes first. We have not yet set an automatic deletion schedule for the visit records attached to a subscription, and we are not going to claim one we do not run: today they are deleted when the subscription is, and this paragraph changes when that changes.
Who else sees it
Our newsletter runs on Beehiiv, so a subscribed address is stored there as well as by us. Nobody else receives it. If that changes, this page changes first.
What you can ask us to do
Under UK and EU data protection law you can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email privacy@winesexpert.com and we will action it within 30 days. You do not have to go through us first: you can complain directly to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk , procedure checked . Asking us to delete your address does not stop you reading the site; nothing here is behind a login.
